Formed in February 1995, the Seychelles International Business Authority (SIBA) is the agency responsible for licensing and regulating primary offshore activities. It is in effect the registrar for International Business Companies (IBC’s) and Trusts, and regulates International Trade Zone (SITZ) activities.
Adopting a one stop approach, SIBA’s efficiency is unsurpassed thanks to its team of dedicated professionals and accomodating legislative backing. It is able to provide swift name approval, incorporation and licensing with minimal bureaucracy, often allowing certificates of incorporation to be issued within an hour.
