Investment Agencies
Seychelles is a very small island State with limited resources and rates at the top in the strong implementation of environmental standards. All investment projects must therefore be screened and regulated to ensure that they suit the country’s economic, social and industrial needs.
The Nature, Size and Value of your project determine which investment Agencies will assist you.
The three main Investment Promotion Agencies in Seychelles are the:-
Seychelles Investment Bureau (SIB);
Seychelles International Business Authority (SIBA); and
Small Enterprise Promotion Agency (SEnPA)
Exceptions for project approvals are:-
Fisheries and agriculture projects with investment costs below SCR150,000 are registered at the authority responsible for Fisheries and Agriculture, Seychelles Fishing Authority and Department of Natural Resources respectively.
